Comic-ventriloquist Jeff Dunham always knows what his “suitcase gang” of pals is going to say when they take to the stage with him. He should, since he literally puts words in their mouths.

Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Walter the Curmudgeon, José Jalapeño, Bubba J and Peanut have no problem telling it how it is through Dunham’s manipulations. Whether it is before live audiences such as his current engagement at Caesars Palace or elsewhere, the puppets rock.

You can also see all of them on YouTube, cable specials and guest spots on national talk shows such as The Tonight Show and Late Show With David Letterman.

Side-splitting humor ranging from sharp to downright lovable are all part of Dunham’s repertoire via the characters, or from his lips alone.

For comments with a bite, there is the opinionated, sarcastic Walter, who has been known to insult live audiences with his pithy comments, including such gems as, “Any idiot that would want to sit in a theater and listen to me talk deserves to lose big bucks on a ticket!”

On the other hand (actually the same one), Bubba J is a product of a trailer park and is a “good ol’ boy” who loves his country and beer. Proud of his redneck heritage, Bubba J just enjoys life.
