Following up on a report we had here several weeks ago that the theater at the Excalibur will be shuttered by year’s end and re-open a month to six weeks later: It will be a $1 million makeover with reconstruction, redesign and new seating. Producer Adam Steck has confirmed that the first of two new shows will debut there Feb. 8 and feature the world’s premier Bee Gees tribute band. The 70-minute, 14-song show is contemporary, and the Australian musicians won’t be wearing wigs or 1970s clothing. “It’s totally as if this is how the Bee Gees would sound and look today if they were starting all over again,” Adam said.
