As the winter holidays and icy-cold weather approach, there’s no way to look hotter than with crisp, clean nails that reflect the nail polish trends of the season. Leave shimmery pink polishes for summer; deeper reds and golds will shimmer like Christmas lights.
And Color—A Salon by Michael Boychuck at Caesars Palace has an indulgent way to enjoy the scents of the season, with its cranberry hand and foot renewal treatments and peppermint pedicure and manicure. The speciality June Jacobs products forego parabens, synthetic dyes and sulfates by using natural ingredients such as goji berry, pomegranate, grapeseed oil and white, red and green tea.
If you’re going to pamper yourself for all those upcoming parties, Color is an ideal place to get pretty. Crystal chandeliers hang at every turn, antique-style white vanities and silver curtains help set the glamorous tone. Framed, autographed photos of blond beauties like Anna Nicole Smith, Gena Lee Nolin and Paris Hilton hang on the wall, all Boychuck clients.
The specialized cranberry hand and foot renewal process uses antioxidant products that include a lactic acid peel containing pomegranate extracts and lemon sugar polish scrub to slough away dead skin. A toning mist featuring flavanoids enhanced with cranberry extract is applied, along with a body balm, to open pores and hydrate skin. Hands and feet are then wrapped up, soaking in a moisture masque as you relax. Next up is a polish app of the polish of your choosing—a rich cranberry red or silver bells color would be extra festive.
If you choose the peppermint services, you’ll get a similar experience, but with peppermint-infused products and a cup of hot chocolate. Bonus!
