Often times Vegas is all about excess, so one would be remiss if one didn’t take advantage of Exotics Racing while in town. First opened in 2009, the attraction is anyone’s chance to put pedal to metal while driving some of the world’s fastest, most expensive and most luxurious exotic cars on a specially designated and designed track located at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. And, heading it all up is Romain Thievin, co-owner of Exotics Racing and an award-winning stunt driver and European racecar champion.
Up until a few years ago Thievan was living and working in his hometown of Paris, France. But when he received an award in L.A. for his work as Matt Damon’s stunt-driving double on the movie Bourne Identity, he made a stop in Vegas, and the rest is history. Along with business partner and longtime friend, David Perisset, Thievin is very proud and enthusiastic about Exotics Racing. “It was exciting for us to create this activity and share my passion.” Exotics Racing, with about 70 employees and more than 20 driving instructors, has a large fleet, totaling more than $6 million worth of inventory. Thievin and his partner oversee it all, and he even gets behind the wheel, conducting ride-alongs totaling about 200 laps a day.
“We offer the best cars, the best tracks, we offer the best products … we offer the best service from A to Z. (Our motto) is ‘rock out and play hard,’” Thievin said, noting that Vegas is the perfect place in which to do so.

Exotics Racing T-shirts
Among other apparel available for purchase at Exotics Racing, the T-shirt sports the company logo and the number 9, which is Romain Thievin’s professional racing number. The shirts come in sizes S-XXL, available in black, white, red and gray. It’s a perfect souvenir to take home once you complete your wickedly fun laps around the track!
