Simply gorgeous, The Villas at The Mirage exceed any expectations of what a first-class stay in Las Vegas should be. Completely tucked away from the rest of the resort, The Villas have more of a residential feel, with a private gated entrance and no signage throughout The Mirage that would signal that The Villas are also present on the property. (We will reveal, however, that if you can find the wall with a small silver telephone attached, that’s the only private entrance from the main hotel floor, where you have to call the Villas staff, confirm that you’re a guest of the villas and then the door will unlock.)

"We will do anything and everything to ensure that our guests' stay is the best that they've ever experienced."

From the moment you book either a villa—there are eight two- and three-bedroom villas available—or a lanai—eight smaller versions of the villa—you are completely taken care of. It starts with your pre-arrival concierge, who arranges all of your reservations, be it dinner, club, show or spa, so that when you arrive, your itinerary is completely planned out. After getting picked up by limousine from the airport, you arrive at the private, gated entrance where your personal villa butler will escort you directly to your room for check-in. (There is no front desk at The Villas at The Mirage, ensuring once again the complete privacy of guests.) “We value the privacy of our clientele so much at The Villas that unless you want people to know that you’re staying here, you’re not staying here,” said James Mulidore, director of villa services.

Once inside your den of delights, there’s nothing more to do but sit back and relax while every whim is satisfied. “There’s literally no request, that’s legal and ethical, that we will not try to fulfill. … We will do anything and everything to ensure that our guests’ stay is the best that they’ve ever experienced,” Mulidore said.

Every inch of The Villas oozes opulence—every design detail, piece of furniture and decorative accessory has been carefully chosen to ensure the continuity of luxury. From the marble fireplace, two-person chaise lounge, fully stocked wet bar and luxurious his-and-her bathrooms to the private outdoor area complete with fire pit, 10-person dining table, bar, outdoor kitchen, sofas, loungers and lap pool, it’s no wonder that guests choose to stay at The Villas for weeks and even months at a time. And, whatever The Villas do not have already, the staff can provide, Mulidore said.

If, during your stay, you would like to throw a small gathering in the spacious, tropical backyard, you can do so. The Villas at The Mirage can schedule an executive chef to come and cook during the party while butlers and bartenders cater to every detail. Another magnificent plus of staying at The Villas is that you can order food and have it delivered to your room from any restaurant at The Mirage.

With prices ranging from $1,500 to $4,500 per night, there is a call for a certain type of clientele, which keeps The Villas operating at a certain level of luxury. But this exclusivity is what sets The Villas at The Mirage apart from other similar properties. With its popularity among celebrities, Fortune 500 company executives and high-profile casino players, the privacy of the villas is of utmost importance, Mulidore stressed. The Villas are open to rental by the general public; however, you must first get in touch with the director of luxury sales, and be screened and pre-approved before booking your room. Just another reminder of the grandeur and high standards of excellence that make up The Villas at The Mirage.
