Las Vegas is a drug that some people just can’t get enough of. Jeff Timmons found that out firsthand when he guest-hosted Chippendales The Show at the Rio last year and had his original three-week run extended for nearly four months. Now the former 98 Degrees singer is back with his own show, Wired, at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson.
Billed as “the party before the party,” the late-night show presents Timmons backed by a band, as well as other artists (some established, some up-and-coming) performing dance, hip-hop and top 40. Naturally, Timmons will draw from 98 Degrees’ catalog of hits—among them, “The Hardest Thing,” “I Do (Cherish You),” “Because of You,” “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)” and the chart-topping “Thank God I Found You.”
“I am honored and excited to be part of the Station Casinos team, and Green Valley Ranch resort,” Timmons said recently. “We’re looking forward to putting on a super, high-energy show that is truly all about the music. Get ready, Vegas!”
Unlike his run in Chippendales, we can bet that Timmons will keep his shirt on during these performances—bad news perhaps for his legions of female fans, but good news for a show that promises to be, as Timmons says, all about the music.
