Lunch at the mall just got a little bit better. You can send old McDonald’s back to the farm and say goodbye, Ruby Tuesday, now that Social House has introduced a pair of options for midday dining.
The Pan-Asian hot spot inside the chic Crystals shopping complex at CityCenter revitalizes the second meal of the day with a $20 three-course prix fixe menu, available from noon-5 p.m. daily, and a $25 bento box lunch.
The three-course menu samples from the chef’s daily creations, while the bento box treats guests to a choice of salads (cucumber sunomono, sesame kelp or mixed greens) and entrées (mixed tempura, chicken, beef or salmon), accompanied by rice, oshinko (pickled radish), hijiki (a dark seaweed) and soup.
A la carte options like miso soup, hanger steak donburi, salmon avocado cut roll and Kobe sliders are still in play for lunch, as are sake pairings—you don’t have to tell your boss—from $8-$12.
Can’t make it for lunch? The after-work crowd gets a boost with Social House’s daily Social Hour menu, available from 5-8 p.m. Choose from $3 Miller Lite, Coors Light and Blue Moon, $8 “oil can” Sapporo and $8 hot sake while munching on teriyaki chicken, Thai beef salad, cod Bibb lettuce cups and seared albacore tuna rolls.
