A goddess awaits you at Venus Pool Club

Maybe they really do grow them better in Canada. But luckily for us Jacqueline Hicks only stayed in the north long enough to celebrate her 7th birthday. Since then, Vegas has been her hometown. “I love it; I never plan on leaving,” she said. And who would want to, with the gig that Hicks has? She’s a model cocktail server at Venus Pool Club at Caesars Palace and gets to spend her days basking in the sun and helping guests have fun. “I love entertaining. Everyone thinks I have the best job, which I do.”
At the European bathing oasis (that means ladies, you can pop those bikini tops off) Hicks’ job is to “entertain and pamper our guests. I make sure that all their needs are met, make sure they’re having a good time, and if they’re not I’ll make sure that they do. I want them to have a great experience and keep coming back. Our job is to create an experience.” And she must be doing something right, because even though she is only in her second season at the pool club, she already has regulars that ask for her by name when they party at Venus.
When Hicks isn’t in the sun, she’s making plans to earn her master’s in speech pathology. But for now? “I would rather work out by the pool six months out of the year.” So, grab your opportunity to hang with this Venusian goddess before she says goodbye to the sun lifestyle. “Come out and visit me over at Venus, have some cocktails and we’ll have a good time,” she said.
Blackberry Thyme Margarita
At Venus Pool Club, the vibe is upscale and classy, so the cocktails follow suit. The Blackberry Thyme Margarita is mixed with Corzo Silver tequila, Grand Marnier, lime juice, blackberries and topped with sprigs of thyme. It’s a refreshing and delicious summer delight. Also on the menu are champagnes by the glass and mojitos, plus specialty cocktails with interesting ingredients including basil, pomegranate and elderflower.
