Scott Disick

Revealing another side of the reality star

Scott Disick

We all know Scott Disick as Kourtney Kardashian’s candid and somewhat controversial boyfriend/baby-daddy from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, having just wrapped its seventh season. What you may not know is this businessman will be hosting the evening at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas on Sept. 29. Las Vegas Magazine’s Kristina Johnson took the time to chat with Disick about his new daughter, future restaurant plans and partying in Vegas.

Q: Congrats on the birth of your daughter. What’s fatherhood been like the second time around?
A: Thanks! I started out thinking it was a lot harder than it was going to be, but being the second time it was not as bad. But any additional children after this, it’s kind of a little extra on top. With the second one you know what you are in store for and you don’t worry as much because you have already been through it.

Q: What’s one thing fans of the show probably don’t know about you?
A: It is shown that I drink a lot, and when I do go out I do like to enjoy myself, but there are a lot of nights that I am in bed early watching TV with my son. I am sure people think that I am running around like a madman every night, but that is not the case.

Q: You’ve been in the public eye a lot the past five years. What’s your relationship with fame these days?
A: Everything has its upside and downside being in the public eye. I have had some downsides, definitely, but also there comes perks and I am just so thankful and appreciative that me and my family live a great, luxurious life, and most importantly, my children are healthy.

Q: Would you consider opening up a restaurant in Las Vegas?
A: I think in Vegas you have to be ready to open a large type of eatery. I want to wait another year or two before opening up a place in Vegas. … I am definitely interested in opening something in Vegas, it just needs to be the right place and the right time and hotel venue.

Q: What makes Chateau a great place to party?
A: I always respect a place that is run properly. I love the space and the vibe and the energy. The energy always is great, the music is always good, and I always want to dress up when I know I am going there. Every time I step in there it feels terrific. It just makes sense and I enjoy being there.
