This week, there’s one place cowboys and cowgirls will be partying together, and that place is PBR Rock Bar in Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. Behind the bar, slinging the drinks will be bartender Stephanie Perrien.

The Professional Bull Riders World Finals kicks off on Oct. 24 and PBR Rock Bar will be one of the hottest spots to kick up some dust during the competition. And Perrien is stoked that her venue is hosting a slew of PBR parties. In fact, she has special ties to PBR: her uncle was a bull rider and his father owns Naccarato Bucking Bulls, who has provided some of the bulls for past PBR competitions. Perrien is from Hollister, Calif., the same town where the Naccarato ranch began its history. “I love PBR Rock Bar; it (takes me back to) my roots,” she said.

Perrien feels right at home working at PBR Rock Bar, a spot that exudes down-home country fun with a dash of Vegas glitz. Part restaurant, part bar, part outdoor bar, part nightclub, PBR is many venues rolled into one. “It’s a relaxed setting. You can move around to the different bars. You can go watch the mechanical bull; you can go and sit outside on the patio. It’s not a place where you’re restricted. It feels as if you’re at someone’s barbecue; it’s just very welcoming and friendly.”

“If people are having a great time we don’t close the doors,” she said. “we just keep the party
going.”

Wild Wild Whiskey

Served in a Mason jar, this popular specialty drink is sure to get you kicking up your heels in no time. It’s mixed with Pendleton whiskey, raspberry liqueur, sweet and sour mix, orange juice and simple syrup. Not in a cocktail mood? What would PBR Rock Bar be without actually serving some PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon)? You can score the storied beer in bottles, cans and on tap.
