The marriage of art and luxury results in wearable bold statements with luxury lifestyle brand Jimmy Choo and contemporary artist Rob Pruitt’s recently released capsule collection, currently available in Jimmy Choo’s boutiques and on the website. The collection includes 19 unique pieces.

The result of joining Pruitt’s pop art style and Jimmy Choo’s glamorous edge, pieces such as the Anouk pump and Sweetie clutch (pictured above) allow the wearer to show off a playful side while remaining elegant and stylish. Pruitt’s use of vivid colors, dégradé, black leather, acrylic, glitter, whimsical panda caricatures and lace, leopard and zebra prints makes each piece quite striking while the high-quality fabrication that the Jimmy Choo brand is revered for polishes off each piece. The collection offers everything from jelly sandals and ballet pumps to luxury high-heels, wallets, key chains, handbags, silk twill scarves and a collectible limited-edition pair of angel and devil panda minaudières, numbered and signed by the artist.

Jimmy Choo’s Cruise 13 collection maintains the brand’s bold and glamorous phase with a modern, urban and metallic-colored mix of shoes and handbags. While gold and silver serve as the dominant colors in each piece, Jimmy Choo implements bold colors of turquoise, citrine, jade and tangerine to complete the look. Each shoe, from sandals and kitten heels to stilettos and ankle booties, boasts materials such as glossy patent leather, silver chains and black suede. The Malika sandal (pictured) leads the charge in the Cruise 13 collection—the strappy ankle bootie combines the perfect balance of metallic gold and silver material, while adding the urban edge with the vector-perforated pattern and zipper back.
