Winter in Venice returns to The Venetian and The Palazzo beginning Nov. 18 with 50 days of holiday celebrations taking over the resorts. The Italian-inspired event includes a six-week residency by Mannheim Steamroller Christmas—Vegas by Chip Davis with nightly holiday shows from the iconic orchestra.
In front of The Venetian, the Doge’s Palace, with its outdoor ice skating rink, is decked out in lights and snowflakes. On Nov. 18, Olympic silver medalist Surya Bonaly performs. Strolling entertainers lend a holiday air while a 65-foot LED-lit tree dominates the scene.
Every night, the holidays get their due with a parade through the resorts at 6 and 8 p.m. A 3-D show on the clock tower at the front of The Venetian dazzles with its holiday stories and ends with the lighting of the Doge’s Palace and Christmas tree.
