It’s first class all the way with LAX’s cocktail server
By Kiko Miyasato

Nicole Lionakis
When Nicole Lionakis was younger, she would hit the Las Vegas Strip and party at a club at the Luxor called Ra. Ra’s space is now occupied by another club, LAX, and, ironically, Lionakis is back partying at that club, now as one of the hot spot’s cocktail servers. For three years, she has been taking care of VIP clients from all around the world, seeking out a fabulous night at one of the hottest clubs on the Strip. “(My job) is to make sure that they have fun,” she said. “Some people come here and they’re in a great mood and they’re ready to party, and some people come here and they might have just had the worst day and it’s my job to make sure that when they leave, they’ve always had the best time.”
Even when she’s working, Lionakis isn’t having a bad time herself. “I get to come to work and have fun.” She has caught performances by Black Eyed Peas, waited on Prince and even served her favorite reality star couple—Ice T and Coco. “They’re always hilarious and awesome. … She’s like a dancing machine and he’s always funny and will get on the mic.” (You can catch them on New Year’s Eve as they play host to the festivities.)
We even got Lionakis to reveal a secret—one that you’re more than welcome to ask her about. At work, she always wears her “fundies,” and has a variety of them. “Nothing’s better than if you’re having a bad night and you go to the bathroom and look down and you’re wearing Ninja Turtle undies. It makes me laugh.”
