If there’s a chef poised to dominate Las Vegas in 2013, it’s Gordon Ramsay. The Scottish-born star of Hell’s Kitchen and MasterChef already scored a win last year with Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas, and in December, opened two more restaurants, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace and Gordon Ramsay BurGR at Planet Hollywood Resort.
While Pub & Grill hews close to fare Ramsay is famous for back in the U.K., BurGR presents something entirely new: the chef’s take on an American staple. Among the burger options are the Hell’s Kitchen Burger, topped with roasted jalapeño peppers; the Farm Burger, marrying a beef patty with a fried egg and duck breast bacon; and the Über Cheese Burger, stocked with three types of cheese.
As far as starters go, the roasted jalapeño poppers are an easy favorite, as are flavorful five-spice chicken sliders. If you’re looking for a touch of sweetness to round out a meal, you could do worse than BurGR’s decadent pudding shakes and push-up pops, alternating layers of salted peanut ice cream and sticky toffee pudding.
