Lemmy Kilmister is pretty much indestructible. The hard-drinking frontman for heavy metal legends Motörhead is nearing 70 and has been having some health problems lately, but that hasn’t kept him from touring and recording with the band he founded in 1975.

Although Motörhead had to cancel some shows last year, they’re back on the road, performing at the Coachella festival in California following a recent European tour. For the band’s 2013 album Aftershock, Lemmy sometimes had to record sitting down, and was only able to make it into the studio for a couple of hours a day, but he wasn’t letting anything keep him from the hard rock he’s been performing his entire life.

In Vegas, Motörhead will be joined by another legendary heavy metal group, California thrashers Megadeth, who started about a decade later than Motörhead but have been just as influential. Led by Dave Mustaine, Megadeth is responsible for hits like “Peace Sells” and “A Tout Le Monde,” and like Lemmy, Mustaine is a heavy metal lifer who still rocks just as hard now as he did when he first started out.
