With flowers in their hair, rainbow-colored bracelets on their arms, neon-colored and fur-lined clothing covering parts of their bodies, the party people head to northeast Las Vegas for Insomniac Events’ 18th annual Electric Daisy Carnival. Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts the three-day electronic music festival, with more than 100,000 people expected to attend per night.

The multisensory experience focuses heavily on the nearly 200 DJs performing across multiple stages, but EDC is so much more. Stages are outfitted with kaleidoscopic set designs, and festivalgoers are treated to large-scale art installations, carnival rides set among a massive playground, theatrical performers, hydration stations, interactive art environments, food and beverage booths and pyrotechnics.

From sunset to sunrise, the party goes nonstop with some of the biggest names in electronic dance music hitting the decks. Rising stars and relative newcomers to the EDM scene dot a lineup that includes Martin Garrix, Afrojack, 3lau, Hardwell, Above & Beyond, Krewella, Steve Aoki, Avicii and Diplo, but longtime fans of the scene will delight in a variety of EDM pioneers set to perform. Taking it back to the old-school are Carl Cox, Armin van Buuren, John Digweed, Paul Van Dyk, Benny Benassi, DJ Dan and Paul Oakenfold.

For those who want the ultimate EDC experience, VIP packages include bottle service, cabanas, VIP stage access and access to the VIP dining deck for a seated dinner and drinks at a private table overlooking the main stage.

Whether you go big or go home before the sun fully rises, an Electric Daisy Carnival experience is one unlike any other. So stick a flower in your hair and head off into the desert night.
