Thanksgiving’s over, and that means … Christmas. No, it means NFR. No, it means Terry Fator: A Country Christmas is back in town. Talented ventriloquist and singer Fator has presented this special seasonal show for several years now, and it’s become a fan favorite. Fator’s Walter T. Airdale plays host and has invited Fator and his wife, Taylor Makakoa, plus all the show’s other characters, to a holiday get-together with country trimmings.
That’s a great setup for Fator, who brings in beloved holiday songs such as “Winter Wonderland,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “O Holy Night” and plenty of others, as well as songs Fator created, like his “Christmas in Las Vegas.”
Of course, everyone’s bound to show up during the night, including characters like Winston the Impersonating Turtle, Emma Taylor, Maynard Thompkins, Berry Fabulous, Vikki “The Cougar” and Duggie Scott Walker. If you’re having any trouble at all getting into the holiday spirit, Fator’s fête is a great way to kick off the season, wrapping up goodwill and an occasional zinger into a package of fun.
