There’s no such thing as too much adult mother-daughter time—especially in Las Vegas! Whether going for a cocktail (oh, the joy of being over 21 and having drinks with your mom) and a Stripside meal, getting spoiled at the spa, browsing retail centers or checking out some of the city’s best entertainment options, you’ll find plenty of activities to enjoy with your mama.

1. Sip and shop

Cabo Wabo Cantina offers classic Mexican fare and tempting libations. Now through the end of September, sip on refreshing summer cocktails such as the peach sweet tea, orange Creamsicle martini or ultimate mojito (go traditional or try one of nine flavors such as blackberry or banana crème). Then, roam Miracle Mile Shops for beauty products at Sephora, jewelry and accessories at Alex and Ani and apparel at H&M, Guess and Bebe. 2. See a Cirque du Soleil production

With eight Cirque du Soleil shows to choose from, you can’t go wrong. From the now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t talents of Criss Angel in CRISS ANGEL Believe to the acrobatic performances in Zarkana and a grand circus spectacular in Mystère, be mesmerized by intricate theatrics, dramatic numbers and pure entertainment from beginning to end. Pair your show with special menus at select restaurants. (Luxor, 702.262.4400; Aria, 702.531.2031; Treasure Island, 702.894.7722)

3. Find balance

Yoga With the Dolphins creates a peaceful morning of exercise and relaxation in an underwater viewing room at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat complex. Set your mind and body at ease while striking dolphin poses in the hourlong yoga class offered at 8:30 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Cost is $50 and includes post-class smoothie and spa day pass. 4. Sweet treats

At Serendipity 3, the popular Frrrozen Hot Chocolate blends more than 20 types of chocolate in an ice-cold creation. If sundaes are your thing, switch it up with options like deep-fried Snickers, colossal brownies or red velvet cake. Don’t worry about ordering two. It’s big enough to share while checking out the scene from the outdoor patio. (Caesars Palace, 702.731.7373)

5. Laugh it up

Besides live music offerings, The Sayers Club offers a chance to get your laugh on with Bonkerz Comedy Club. At 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, check out the 21-and-over comedy hour. Tickets are $10 with a two-drink minimum. After the show, listen to the house band and guest performers or live DJs on select nights. (SLS Las Vegas, 702.761.7618)

6. Get pampered

Surely no ladies outing is complete without a spa trip. At MGM Grand Spa, manicures and pedicures, customized massages with enhancements and facials such as the youth renewal or classic European highlight the menu. Go glam with airbrush foundation application; eyelash and eyebrow services are available, too. With flexible hours, you’ll have plenty of time to get all dolled up. (702.891.1111)

7. Tribute shows

Las Vegas is full of shows that pay homage to music legends but one that suits a mother-daughter afternoon or night out well is Legends in Concert. The long-running show appeals to both young and old with Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley look-alikes, among others. Groove and sing along to songs you may know and love as impersonators channel their inner celebrity, putting on a show just as though they were the real artist. (Flamingo, 702.777.2782)

8. All about brunch

Every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Lavo dishes up lemon ricotta waffles, breakfast mac and cheese and almond-crusted French toast. Get your seafood fix with lobster Benedict and champagne hollandaise. The eatery is a chic place to brunch, with its Stripside patio and bottomless mimosas for an additional cost.
