On their own, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks are both formidable performers. Before merging their musical careers, they were each successful blues-rock artists, Tedeschi with her solo work, and Trucks with his eponymous band as well as his years as a member of the Allman Brothers Band. Although the pair married in 2001, it wasn’t until 2010 that they decided to formalize their musical partnership as well, forming the Tedeschi Trucks Band and releasing the 2011 album Revelator.

Revelator went on to win the Grammy for Best Blues Album, and the band has since released two more critically acclaimed albums. Their live shows combine original songs with blues and R&B standards, showcasing Tedeschi and Trucks’ guitar skills, as well as the impressive musical abilities of their band members. On this latest tour, which stops at the Palms June 9, they’ll be joined by blues guitarist Doyle Bramhall II and throwback soul singer Sharon Jones with her band the Dap-Kings. –Josh Bell
