The guys in 311 have a long history with Las Vegas, including several incarnations of their annual 311 Day celebration (held on or around March 11) that serves as a gathering point for fans of the veteran alt-rock band. This year, the band’s two-night stand in Vegas comes in July, not in March, but it’s still a special event for fans, with shows featuring two different showcases of 311 material.

On the band’s first night in town, they’re performing a set billed as “hits, classics and rarities,” and fans know that coming from 311, that isn’t just talk. At past 311 Day celebrations, the band has played upwards of 60 different songs from throughout their career in a single concert, digging deeply to reward those dedicated fans who’ve been following the band for years.

The second 311 Vegas show this year features a full performance of the band’s 1995 self-titled album (also known as the Blue Album), which spawned seminal ’90s alt-rock hits “Down,” “Don’t Stay Home” and “All Mixed Up.”
