Every year during the National Finals Rodeo, Vegas entertainment is dominated by country music performances, catering to the fans who come to town for the rodeo, or who just appreciate the culture surrounding it. Part of that culture is Southern comedy, which goes hand in hand with country music, and comedians like Ron White always find an appreciative audience in Vegas during NFR. Once part of the Blue Collar Comedy troupe, White has moved on from the redneck comedy niche to expand his style, and he can find a happy crowd in Vegas at pretty much any time of year.

White still has his Southern twang and his unpretentious attitude, but his comedy has become more wide-ranging as his success has afforded him opportunities beyond his humble roots. He’s still self-deprecating enough to be relatable, though, and his material about marriage and family remains universal. White recently wrapped up a recurring role on Showtime’s Roadies, but his focus is still squarely on stand-up. For audiences looking to laugh after checking out cowboys or country singers, White has them covered.
