Black Sabbath may be in the midst of its farewell tour (ominously dubbed “The End”), but fans of the legendary heavy metal band shouldn’t worry that they won’t have the chance to see their favorite act one last time. Sabbath’s goodbye is so long that this week’s tour stop on Feb. 13 is just the first of two, and the next isn’t for another seven months. Still, for anyone who’s always wanted to see Ozzy Osbourne, pictured, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler performing their classic songs live, now is probably the time to get those tickets.

And the list of Sabbath classics is long; during the period of less than 10 years when the original lineup was together, they produced iconic metal songs like “Paranoid,” “Iron Man,” “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,” “War Pigs,” “N.I.B.” and many more. Their songs have been covered by nearly every hard rock band in existence, and there is perhaps no other act as influential in the world of heavy music. They’ve reunited intermittently since 1997, even releasing a new album in 2013, but all good things must come to an end. At least Black Sabbath’s end will have plenty of time to showcase all those good things before finally winding down.
