The latest tour from Bullet for My Valentine is dubbed the British Invasion Tour, but this U.S. visit from U.K. bands is very different from the prototypical British invasion led by the Beatles in the early 1960s. Bullet for My Valentine (along with British metal bands Asking Alexandria and While She Sleeps) is no tame group of mop-topped lads singing about love. Influenced by heavy metal titans like Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer, Bullet combines melodic vocals with catchy riffs and aggressive, intense musicianship.

Formed in the Welsh town of Bridgend, Bullet brought its music to the world starting with 2005 debut album The Poison, and the band has been steadily building a following since then, with numerous tours around the world and appearances at rock festivals ranging from the punk-focused Vans Warped Tour to venerable European metal-fests Rock am Ring and the Download Festival. The band’s fifth and most recent album, Venom, was released last year, hitting the top 10 on the album charts in nine countries, including the U.S. The invasion has already begun, and this tour is the next step in Bullet for My Valentine’s conquest.
