Cheyenne Jackson can sing just about anything. The actor (30 Rock) and singer achieved his first success in musical theater, with Broadway shows like All Shook Up (an Elvis Presley tribute), Xanadu (based on the cult classic Olivia Newton-John disco musical movie) and the classic musical Damn Yankees, proving his versatility in performing a range of musical styles. As a solo artist, he’s recorded albums of standards (2009’s The Power of Two, with Michael Feinstein), 1960s pop (last month’s Renaissance) and even original songs (2013’s I’m Blue, Skies). He can bring a traditional, vintage approach to well-worn classics, and he can bring a modern edge to his own compositions.

He’ll be doing a bit of both, with original songs from I’m Blue, Skies plus selections from his successful concert event for Music of the Mad Men Era, which provided the source for Renaissance. With his clean-cut good looks and penchant for snappy suits, Jackson fits well with the stylish 1960s of acclaimed AMC drama Mad Men, from which he drew inspiration for both the concert and the Renaissance album. He brings that effortless style and suave confidence to any song he sings, no matter what the era.
