In the age of social media, lots of musical artists are fan-friendly, but the guys in 311 take that to another level. The veteran band’s 311 Day celebrations (held on or around March 11, naturally) are known for a huge range of material that caters to dedicated fans, who travel from around the country and the world to see their favorite band perform the songs they love. At this year’s celebration in New Orleans, 311 performed 85 different songs over two nights.

Although 311 Day hasn’t been held in Vegas for several years now, the city is still a special stop on 311’s annual touring schedule, and this year the band will hold a two-night Independence Day celebration at Mandalay Bay Beach, featuring fireworks displays, opening sets by DJ Kilmore of Incubus and after-parties inside Mandalay Bay at the House of Blues Courtyard and Eyecandy. The alt-rockers may not quite get to 85 different songs over those two nights, but they’re guaranteed to dig way deeper than ’90s hits like “Down” and “All Mixed Up.” The fans deserve nothing less.

Mandalay Bay Beach, 8:30 p.m. July 2-3, starting at $57 plus tax and fee. 800.745.3000 Ticketmaster
