From the minute the lights go up on “X” Burlesque, you barely have time to take a breath, so tireless and relentless are the performers who tackle every number with passion and confidence. It’s a topless show, yes, but “X” Burlesque is no mere exercise in titillation. These women have serious athletic skills, making jaws drop all over the room with some of their displays of balance and power.

Every number has its own seductive allure, from the neon costumes used during Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” to the sensual dancing and playful, knowing winks to Touch and Go’s “Would You?”

There’s also plenty of humor. Some lucky audience member gets pulled onstage during the “Mile High Club” segment scored to Lenny Kravitz’s “Fly Away,” and comedian James Bean provides some truly hilarious insights midway through the show. “X” Burlesque just celebrated 14 years on the Strip, and it’s not hard to see why the show has staying power.
