Yo: Welcome to Da Bronx—musically speaking, of course, courtesy of The Bronx Wanderers. Straight outta that storied New York City borough, this proudly Italian, family-centered (and black leather jacket-clad) ensemble rocks the house with ’50s, ’60s and ’70s hits. Daddy Vinny Adinolfi—a longtime record executive and producer—and his bambinos, Vinny “The Kid” and Nicky “Stix,” are aided by three backup musicians as they wind back the clock to the days of Dion, the Four Seasons and many others.

Opening with (’natch) “The Wanderer,” they rocket into one of two Four Seasons medleys (ranging from “Rag Doll” to “Who Loves You”), then veer into Billy Joel’s “Scenes From An Italian Restaurant.” Papa Vinny prods the crowd to warble the chorus of Dion’s “Teenager in Love” before they segue into The Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows,” Jay and the Americans’ “Cara Mia” and Elvis’ “If I Can Dream.” Instrumental highlights include “Wipeout” and the Ventures’ “Hawaii Five-O” theme. Closing out with rollicking versions of Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode” and Dion’s “Runaround Sue,” The Bronx Wanderers have wandered straight into a Vegas showcase.
