There is something gloriously rock ‘n’ roll about the Kings Of Chaos. Are they a band of rotating aging rockers who just can’t say no to the spotlight? Are they a group of musicians who get better with age so much so that it doesn’t matter who else they are playing with? Is this nostalgia or evolution? Is it a case of can’t let go or adapt and survive?

Whatever it is, the results are undeniable. Formerly known as the Rock ‘N’ Roll All-Stars, the unit was originally a showcase for former Guns N’ Roses players. At one point, they had six members from different GNR incarnations on stage at the same time. Now it’s just down to drummer Matt Sorum. But he is joined by other rock luminaries in this streamlined edition of KOC, most notably Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, who will be taking over vocals. Harmonizing with the bearded one will be Chester Bennington from Linkin Park and Corey Taylor, the lead singer from Slipknot. Chaos!

Steve Stevens and Billy Duffy of Billy Idol and The Cult fame, respectively, will be wielding the axes. Bassist Robert DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots will be holding down the line. More chaos!

It’s a good thing Kings Of Chaos are scheduled to play three nights in Las Vegas, because this much bombast needs time and space. Can you handle it?
