Welcome, Sema Show 2016 attendees! We know you won’t always be on the convention floor, so we’ve compiled a resource to help you make the most of your down time at host properties Venetian and Palazzo—time-saving tips, the best places to eat (and recommended dishes for each) and much more. Enjoy!

Insider Tips

Where do you go if you lose your phone charger? You are in luck! We will keep you connected with our charging blocks located at both The Venetian and The Palazzo concierge. In addition, many of the slot machines throughout The Venetian or The Palazzo feature charging ports.

Where’s the best place to get sundries if you left something at home? Concierge is happy to assist and can send what you need directly to your suite. If you prefer to do your own shopping, visit International News or Varieta at The Venetian or La Fortuna in The Palazzo. In addition, there is a full Walgreens—with its new “upmarket” store concept—on the ground level of The Palazzo.

What are some helpful parking tips if you’re driving by car? For those driving, the easiest in-and-out parking is at The Palazzo, with an entrance from Sands Avenue/Spring Mountain. There are three complimentary valet options, including The Venetian, The Palazzo and The Grand Canal Shoppes.

When’s the best time to visit most restaurants in order to avoid a long wait? To score a table at our most popular restaurants, we suggest making reservations in advance. However, because The Venetian and The Palazzo feature dozens of award-winning restaurants, diners can usually find a free table whenever a craving strikes.

Best places to grab a cup of coffee 24/7? You can always get a delicious cup at Grand Lux Café in The Venetian, or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf located at The Palazzo.

What’s the easiest way to grab tickets for a show that night? While concierge can assist with tickets, your best bet is to visit any box office at The Venetian or The Palazzo, where tickets for all shows are available.

What’s the best way to avoid the taxi lines? Guests can set up a limo through concierge, or try Lyft or Uber. We have convenient locations for pick up and drop-off at both The Venetian and The Palazzo’s main entrances.
