Although Juicy J always knew he was going to be a big star, but sometimes details such as deciding on the name of his fourth and forthcoming studio album, Rubba Band Business, get in his way. The long-awaited solo effort from the former member of Memphis’ Three Six Mafia was previously titled Pure THC: The Hustle Continues and was to be released in July, then the fall. Now it’s set to drop any time, and since Rubba Band Business: The Tour kicks off this month, it’s not likely the title will change again.

It’s not as the delays were due to Juicy J slacking off. Since his last full-length, 2013’s Stay Trippy, he released mix tapes Lit in Ceylon and #MUSTBENICE, teamed with Wiz Khalifa and TM88 for the TGODMafia project, and as of late has been leaking upcoming tracks from Rubba Band to the hip-hop press. J teamed with Kanye West for "Ballin," joined Slim Jxmmi for “Gimme Gimme,” and released a video last summer for “No English,” featuring Travi$ Scott. While no reasons for the delays of Rubba Band have been given, the suspense surrounding its release will surely help to hype the nearly 40 dates Juicy J has lined up through March.
