Mayday Parade gives their fans their money’s worth in concert. How hard do they work? In 2010, the website Songkick declared Mayday Parade the hardest-working band in show business. That year, the pop punk group played 194 shows and traveled 74,000 miles.

The five piece band, from Tallahassee, Fla., formed when local groups Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment decided to merge. Then a six-member unit, they became known for their poppy sound and anthemic style of songs. After Jason Lancaster left, Derek Sanders took over lead vocals and the group began ascending the ranks.

In 2007, they released their debut studio record, A Lesson in Romantics, and the band toured on the Vans Warped Tour. The band’s last album, Black Lines, was released in 2015, and the band recently released the anniversary version of A Lesson in Romantics—and are currently touring in support of its 10th anniversary.
