Las Vegas has long been known as the Wedding Capital of the World, and this year a milestone was hit: Clark County, which includes the city of Las Vegas, issued its 5 millionth marriage license since it was founded in 1909. “Couples who married in Las Vegas are part of our history,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya. “It is their legacy that turned us into the Wedding Capital of the World.”

Odds are you’ve heard of some of the city’s most famous wedding locales, including the Little Church of the West, Royal Wedding Chapel and, of course, A Little White Wedding Chapel. And, yes, those are all perfect venues to tie the knot, but in the spirit of romance and adventure, Las Vegas Magazine has compiled some other ways you can say, “I do.” Because your wedding is one of the most important events of your life; don’t you want it to be memorable?

If you and your betrothed are adrenaline junkies, get married at 67 mph on the Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York. You can even bring your wedding party with you, as each train holds up to 18 passengers. There are two time frames available: 30 minutes prior to opening and 30 minutes after closing. You can even bring your own photographer along (or one can be provided for an extra fee).

For wedding photos that are sure to be talked about for years to come, it doesn’t get much better—or sneakier—than Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, the wax museum at The Venetian, where you can get married not only in front of a façade of A Little White Chapel, but in front of “witnesses” like George Clooney and Beyoncé. And in keeping with the venue’s theme, every couple receives a set of souvenir wax hands.
