Jen Mateo calls herself the party enforcer. Well, she can slap the cuffs on us anytime. “I’m really good at making sure that my guests are having a good time and are entertained,” said the Bay Area native and Top Rank Boxing ring girl.

This week you can have three times the fun with Wet Republic’s model cocktail server, as she celebrates her birthday, her first season at the MGM Grand ultra pool and its official grand opening weekend, with resident DJ Steve Aoki performing April 12.

It may be Mateo’s first summer at the Wet Republic, but she’s no stranger to it. Last season, she entered the pool club’s Hot 100 beauty and bikini contest—beating out 99 other ladies. “So, even before I worked here, I was a guest,” Mateo said. “I really liked all the people, the party, the atmosphere. That’s why I chose to work at Wet Republic.”

When Mateo is not serving pool guests, she’s working as a ring girl. “You can catch me on Top Rank Boxing on HBO, but not as much right now—my main priority is Wet Republic.” She’s also a social media sensation, with more than 193,000 Instagram followers.

Now pool guests get to see her walk the party instead of the ring, in her blue-and-white bikini uniform. She’s completely comfortable in the barely there outfit. “The only thing I worry about is tan lines!” she joked.

Wet Republic offers up a slew of specialty cocktails, perfect for partying, dancing or tanning poolside. The refreshing Pool Bunny gives you energy and the cooldown you might need, mixing Ketel One Citroen vodka, Red Bull Blue Edition energy drink and lemonade.
