You know that person you meet once in a blue moon who makes you stop and think, “What have I been doing with my life?” Well, that person is Neal Harris, marketing director for Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub at The Cromwell.

When most pre-teens were prank calling their crushes, Harris was working in his hometown of London at Microsoft’s corporate office as its programmer and developer.

“After some time, 11 years, I chose to give it up,” Harris said. So what did he do? Flew to Vegas for a bachelor party ... and decided to stay. That was a few years ago.

One night he crossed paths with nightlife impresario Victor Drai. “I was working as a host, and I bumped into Victor,” he said. “We got to talking and he asked me to build a new website for his company. Within a week, I was hired full time. I progressed very rapidly up the ladder to become the marketing director.” Harris’ marketing experience comes from his time working with his family’s company back in the U.K.

Harris’ background also includes owning an IT company, a jewelry manufacturing company and a marketing firm back in London. (“There’s not enough hours in a day,” you can often hear him saying.) Still, he can’t imagine himself working with any other company right now.

“I love my team and I feel that Drai’s has so much going for it. So, when it hits its peak, I can say I did it—I was a part of the best nightlife company in the world.”

Drai's Lemonade

Sweet and refreshing are two words that best describe the Drai’s Lemonade. But watch out—it’s so tasty that you might forget it’s got alcohol in it. The cocktail mixes Belvedere citrus vodka and Skyy wild strawberry vodka with fresh-cut strawberries and fresh-squeezed lemonade. If you want to sit poolside with this one, think about ordering it in a pitcher and inviting some people to share. All Drai’s specialty cocktails are available by the cup or pitcher.
