It’s been a long and winding road in the food and beverage industry for Tony Fisher. Today, as general manager of Beerhaus at The Park, Fisher couldn’t be happier. “I get to come to work and look outdoors with people walking by,” he said. “It’s scenic. It’s different. I love it.”

While growing up, Fisher (who was raised in North Dakota) watched his parents run small businesses; the experience of working alongside them gave him a taste for what was to become a successful career managing some of Las Vegas’ most popular venues. “Working with them—it was daily life,” Fisher said. “I definitely got my work ethic from Mom and Dad.”

Fisher has helped open some of the city’s most well-known eateries, in hotels up and down the Strip. And, as The Park (the city’s newest outdoor entertainment and dining complex) was being built, Fisher was on the ground floor helping to open Beerhaus, “a modern take on a classic beer garden,” he said.

“We have something for everyone—we have great food, a full bar; it’s very social. It’s a place where you can just come and relax. It’s the simplicity of the concept that’s really the best.”

As general manager, Fisher is responsible for day-to-day operations. And what that means is, “You have to be willing to work hard,” he said. “You have to be willing and able to look ahead.” It’s that work ethic, the one Fisher has had since he was young, that’s kept him on the road to success.

Crafthaus Evocation

“The biggest focus of our beer list is to make sure that we have representation from the local breweries,” Fisher said. Guests can choose from a rotating lineup of up to seven local brewers including Crafthaus, Big Dog’s, Sin City, Bad Beat and Hop Nuts. Beerhaus also offers a robust menu of lagers, ales, ciders and nonalcoholic brews. “We didn’t want to have the largest beer selection on the Strip or in Vegas, that wasn’t the goal,” Fisher said. “The goal was to have the most interesting and always keep it fresh.” Enjoy happy hour from 2-6 p.m. daily with $4 drafts.
