Celebrating its 30th anniversary last year, the O'Sheas name has long welcomed Las Vegas guests looking for a good time. The building first set up shop right on the boulevard, but in 2011 it shuttered. Thankfully, with the construction of The Promenade in 2013, O'Sheas was given a second life and reopened, continuing its legacy of spreading that Irish cheer.
Inside the 5,000 square-foot space, guests can turn to whatever fun tickles their fancy: blackjack and roulette (there's 13 table games and video poker), the dance floor to boogie to live entertainment every night of the week and foosball and beer pong tables (check out the weekly beer pong tournaments) for some friendly matches.
When it comes to imbibing, O'Sheas has a pretty wicked-good happy hour, called Lucky Hour, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mon.-Fri. Specials include $3 Miller Lite and Coors Light drafts and $4 Guinness drafts. For those looking to get in the spirit fast, check out some of the $6 shot specials that includes Jameson, Irish Car Bombs, Jägermeister and Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire and $3 Jell-O shots. There are also $15 beer pong specials. And more than 60 different beer selections are available for you suds connoisseurs. When it's your turn to order, O'Sheas offers three bars within its venue. One of those, The Blarney Bar, sits outside so guests can catch the people-watching action on the Promenade.
To keep the Irish cheer in check, O'Sheas hands the reigns to its mascot, Lucky the Leprechaun, played by Las Vegan Brian Thomas, who has donned the green tuxedo and top hat for more than a decade. Bartenders at O'Sheas are also known to hop up on the bar both day and night, dispensing shots straight from the bottle to the mouths of willing patrons.
