Winter is over. Spring is here. The weather is beautiful—especially in Las Vegas. It’s not too hot yet in the desert, meaning it’s the perfect time to enjoy some drinks outdoors. The Strip is dotted with some great bars and lounges that have great patios.

Cigar smoker? Head to the Strip’s newest puff palace, Eight Lounge at Resorts World. Here, the swank patio is spacious, and guests can have the knowledgeable staff pair cigars with specialty cocktails.

For something more casual with college-days-kinda-vibes there’s Carnaval Court at Harrah’s. The whole bar is outdoors so it’s like one huge patio and bonuses include flair bartenders, blackjack tables and live music. Another spot is Beer Park at Paris. The 9,000 square-foot picnic-style patio overlooks the Strip and guests can play giant Jenga, pool and darts, eat yummy barbecue and choose from a large selection of beer on draft.

Anchoring Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is western-themed PBR Rock Bar where you can ride the mechanical bull, get some good Southern-inspired eats and hang on the Stripside patio. On the opposite end of the Shops is Mexican-themed Cabo Wabo Cantina. The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar’s joint offers a nice patio with a bar and some delicious tequila cocktails.

Over at New York-New York, hang outside on the Brooklyn Bridge at Nine Fine Irishmen. The large pub has plenty of outdoor seating great for people-watching and enjoying a nice, cold Guinness. Just around the corner at The Park, head to Beerhaus. This totally chill spot has picnic tables spread across its patio portion and offers tons of board games you can play while enjoying a local beer selection and some pub-style bites.

Off-Strip not-to-be-missed patios include Money, Baby! at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The upscale sports bar has more than 200 HDTVs and the patio offers comfortable seating to kick back as well as cornhole, lawn games and fire pits. Head downtown to the Golden Nugget for one of the coolest spots along the Fremont Street Experience. Troy Liquor Bar offers a nightlife alternative to the mega clubs where guests can listen to DJs, get reasonably priced bottle service and party on the huge patio that overlooks all the action on Fremont (with awesome views of Viva Vision, too!).
