Aug. 5 is National Oyster Day! And whether you them raw, fried or with a bunch of seafood-loving friends, you can eat your fill in Vegas, no matter if you venture out on Aug. 5 or beyond.

One of the most celebrated places in Vegas for oysters used to be a locals’ secret, but that secret got out, and now Palace Station’s Oyster Bar has a line a mile long. Today, a lucky winner of a recent Instagram contest got the first-ever “cut the line” pass. If it wasn’t you, you can still take advantage of that and get in line for oysters on the half shell or pan roasts (open daily).

On the Strip, head to Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand for Louisiana-style broiled oysters, a mainstay on the menu, with Parmesan and Creole herb butter (open daily).

Delmonico’s at The Venetian serves up oysters on the half shell with a ver jus mignonette (open daily). At the Oyster Bar at Harrah’s, get the jumbo fried oysters or the Rockefeller version, with spinach and Hollandaise sauce (open Thursday through Sunday).

Other options include Sunset Station’s Oyster Bar (inside a unique boulder-like area, open daily) and Santa Fe Station’s Oyster Bar (maybe try an oyster shooter; open daily).
