When you head into Rí Rá Irish Pub, you may feel like you’ve gone back in time a century or two. The restaurant and eatery inside Mandalay Place (on the skybridge between Luxor and Mandalay Bay) is modeled after 19th-century Irish pubs, with materials sourced and restored from actual pubs. There are several themed rooms, from the Shop Bar to the Victorian Bar. Each has a different style, like the hominess of the Shop area, decorated with vintage containers, bottles and memorabilia. In the Victorian Bar, chandeliers hang over the magnificent bar, and in a niche on the wall is a statue of Saint Patrick.

In every bar, you can get a selection of Irish whiskies, beers, ciders and ales like Kilkenny’s Irish Cream Ale and Sullivan’s Gold Ale, Guinness (of course) and plenty of other craft and import beers (cocktails, too, if you are into that).

Rí Rá serves up dishes like a classic Irish breakfast with eggs, bangers, rashers and black-and-white pudding; potato cakes with cheddar; an unusual deviled Scotch egg; sausage roll bites; fish and chips; corned beef and cabbage; shepherd’s pie; beef and Guinness stew; and Irish chicken curry. Are you salivating yet? ’Cause I am.
