If you look at his body of work, it’s easy to understand why critics and audiences alike have recognized composer Hans Zimmer as one of Hollywood’s most innovative musical talents.

Zimmer has scored numerous movies including The Lion King, Gladiator, As Good As It Gets, Rain Man, Thelma and Louise and a League of Their Own. Additionally, Zimmer composed the original score for Best Picture Oscar recipient, Driving Miss Daisy. Many years ago, Zimmer explained his feelings about music: “If something happened where I couldn’t write music anymore, it would kill me. It’s not just a job. It’s not just a hobby. It’s why I get up in the morning. You have to remain flexible, and you must be your own critic at all times.”

The first half of the concert in Las Vegas features pieces from the composer’s scores for films like The Lion King, Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean, while the second half will focus on “re-imagined” takes on his music from The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception.
