Las Vegas radio hosts Mike and Carla from KKLZ FM aim to prove that the ’80s are alive and kicking as they present Super Summer Bash. Headliner and Culture Club lead singer Boy George, pictured, will “tumble 4 ya” with his war chest full of pop and new wave hits. The Romantics continue the new wave theme but move more mainstream with songs like “Talking In Your Sleep,” and the anthem that is “What I Like About You.”

Along that line of power pop, Tommy Tutone has probably had more than his share of good times from that number on the wall, “867-5309/Jenny.” And Tiffany’s takes on “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “I Saw Him Standing There” will make you want her to sign your copy of Tiger Beat. Clive Farrington and Andrew Mann formerly of When In Rome might be the longest name of any act currently reliving the decade, but as long as they play “The Promise” there will be no complaints. And Nu Shooz brings one of the all-time great crossover hits, “I Can’t Wait,” to the stage.
