The laid-back vibe of Santa Barbara-based band Iration is almost guaranteed to make you forget your troubles for an evening and just lose yourself in the music. The quartet of keyboardist Cayson Peterson, drummer Joseph Dickens, bassist Adam Taylor and guitarists/vocalists Micah Pueschel and Micah Brown has been helping crowds chill out since 2004 (they had plenty of early practice, performing mostly in college towns), and their popularity in the genre of “sunshine reggae” has only continued to soar, especially in their native Hawaii. They’ve released five albums (four of them, 2007’s No Time for Rest, 2010’s Time Bomb, 2013’s Automatic and 2015’s Hotting Up, all topped Billboard’s reggae albums chart), ensuring a diverse evening of mellowness.
