It’s currently the longest-running multicity music festival in North America. The Vans Warped Tour is over two decades old, having made its debut in 1995. Back then, Vans had nothing to do it with it, but one year later the skater-favorite shoe brand signed on as the title sponsor. In its original incarnation, Warped was heavy on skate punk music but over the years it has involved into more of a pop/pop punk celebration. Past acts have included Blink-182, Katy Perry, Yelawolf, and Black Eyed Peas. This year’s iteration has 41 dates on the calendar, from the Warped Tour Mexico to a musical cruise.

Just a few of the acts spectators can bang their heads to are rock trio CKY, which is set to release its latest album, The Phoenix, this summer, pop powerhouse foursome Hawthorne Heights, infectious beat rockers American Authors, performance metal kings Gwar, throwback ska punkers Save Ferris, and the only band named after a Hun on the card, Attila. It’s time to get warped.
