Emo fans who came of age in the early ’00s might be feeling a little old as emo stalwarts Bayside embark on the 10-year anniversary tour for their 2007 album Walking Wounded.

Bayside were part of a wave of pop-punk and emo bands that stormed alt-rock radio in the ’00s, and Walking Wounded was the N.Y. band’s breakout record, with radio singles “Duality” and “Carry On.” It was also the band’s first album following a van crash that left drummer John Holohan dead and bassist Nick Ghanbarian with serious injuries (hence the title). Bayside came back strong from those difficulties, releasing Walking Wounded and four more albums, including 2016’s Vacancy. The band is going all out for the Walking Wounded anniversary, playing the album in its entirety (including some songs that had never been played live before) on the current tour, and releasing a 20-minute retrospective on YouTube about the whole period in Bayside’s history.
