In case you missed Clint Holmes earlier this year during his Soundtrack engagement with Earl Turner at Westgate Las Vegas, he’ll be home for the holidays presenting seasonal performances at Myron’s Cabaret Jazz inside The Smith Center. Holmes for the Holidays features the dynamic performer singing a selection of holiday classics in his signature style. In addition to timeless seasonal compositions, Holmes is well versed in the Great American Songbook as well as the Lennon-McCartney canon, interpreting songs in a way that is inimitable on the entertainment scene.

Holmes became a national figure when he scored a blockbuster hit in 1973 with his single “Playground in My Mind.” He went on to become Joan Rivers’ sideman during the late comedian’s mid-’80s talk show, then had a syndicated television program in New York before settling in Las Vegas. Holmes carries forward the legacy of the all-around entertainer, often evoking the onstage style and spirit of vintage Sammy Davis Jr. Holmes, who earned critical acclaim for his latest release Rendezvous, heads to venerable N.Y. venue Birdland Jazz Club for a string of shows before he heads home once again to ring in New Years Eve at Sam’s Town.
