Aside from providing top-notch entertainment all over the world, Canadian-based production company Cirque du Soleil is all for coming together for a good cause. Each spring, Las Vegas Cirque performers unite for One Night for One Drop to benefit One Drop, a nonprofit organization dedicated to clean water initiatives. Created by Cirque founder Guy Laliberté, One Drop not only raises funds for global efforts but also for the local community, too.

Now in its sixth year, One Night for One Drop is doing something that hasn’t been done in previous years by focusing the production on one artist. This year’s over-the-top spectacle—with incredible Cirque acrobatics and theatrics—is inspired by the life of Grammy-nominated folk-rock singer Jewel. “...I’m really looking forward to this and doing it for such an amazing cause that is very near and dear to my heart makes it even more meaningful,” said Jewel in a statement. The “You Were Meant for Me” singer dedicates a lot of her time to philanthropic work and her foundation, Higher Ground for Humanity, has raised money for global communities for efforts similar to One Drop’s mission.

With input and a personal touch from Jewel herself, this year’s One Night for One Drop is an event not to be missed.
