Hooters

Two more Las Vegas properties reopened their doors this week, and they’re right next to one another—Tropicana Las Vegas and OYO Hotel & Casino.

OYO, which opened earlier this year at the site of the former Hooters Hotel Casino, reopened Wednesday, and its Hooters restaurant—the largest in the country—has indeed reopened as well, with plans to operate from 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Also reopening is the Splash Cantina by the pool, which will operate from 6 to 11 p.m. daily. The property’s Steak ‘n Shake, a popular venue with tourists, remains closed for now.

Tropicana Las Vegas reopens today, along with its celebrity chef restaurant Robert Irvine’s Public House, which opens its doors with a special “Trop & Go” menu full of quick, convenient and delicious favorites.

All OYO’s shows—Cherry Boom Boom, Motown Extreme and others—remain shuttered in accordance with Gov. Steve Sisolak’s ban on live entertainment. The same goes for Tropicana Las Vegas' popular Legends In Concert tribute show.

Both properties will observe social distancing guidelines and customer safety, including the wearing of masks and hand-sanitizing stations at regular intervals.
