No doubt those triple-digit temperatures are tempting you to stay mostly inside your nice, cool, air-conditioned resort. But you’ll definitely want to head outside for Mandalay Bay Beach’s Concerts on the Beach series. Not only will you get to hear some of music’s hottest acts, you’ll do so at one of the coolest venues on the Las Vegas Strip—a re-created beach environment complete with a shoreline and pool that allows you to soak while sipping on signature cocktails.

The fun starts with Sublime with Rome, which performs at 9 p.m. July 2. The group formed in 2009, and its current lineup of Eric Wilson, Carlos Verdugo and Rome Ramirez have been entertaining crowds with their ska punk sound. Expect to hear hits like “Wicked Heart,” “Take It Or Leave It,” “Panic” and “Wherever You Go.”

Concerts on the Beach continues with Travis Tritt and special guest Randy Houser on Sept 4, and Caifanes on Sept. 10-11.
