Allison Green was a Millionaire at just 16 years old; that’s millionaire with a capital “M.” She was the lead singer and songwriter for the musical group Millionaires, which she formed with her sister. “My parents got me my first Mac and I stumbled upon the GarageBand program,” recalls the California native. “I played with a few beats, put some lyrics together and me and my sister ended up creating a song.” They decided to put it up on MySpace, and before they knew it they were a top artist on the site.

2007 kicked off a whirlwind musical career for Green and her group—touring the country and world, even making the Vans Warped Tour bill. “We were Nicki Minaj meets Kesha,” Green says. After nearly eight years the group decided to take a break, and that’s when Green made the move to Las Vegas.

“My friend convinced me to audition for Drai’s Beach Club—I landed the interview,” she says. This is now Green’s second season as a model cocktail server for the rooftop pool at The Cromwell. All day long, Green takes care of guests in the bungalows. “When I’m with my guests, I love to be a part of the party. I love meeting new people. You never know who you’re gonna connect with.”

The job also keeps her musical soul happy because she gets to be around and hear all the live acts Drai’s welcomes every week. “Also, you’re in the sun, with this view—really, it’s the dream job.”

Frozen Ginger Mule

“This year, my favorite cocktail of the summer would be the Frozen Ginger Mule,” Green says. “I love Moscow Mules and this one is really good—light, refreshing and cold for this hot Las Vegas weather. It’s the perfect balance between sweet and that spice from the ginger.” The cocktail is a slushy-type mix of Belvedere Ginger Zest vodka, fresh-squeezed lime juice and ginger purée.
