There’s more than just this beautiful face and body … Sam Adams is quite the thrill seeker and adventure lover. By trade you’ll find her taking care of guests poolside as a model cocktail server at Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria. When not on the clock, Adams still loves being near water but for a whole ’nother reason.
“I’m obsessed with sharks,” says the Orlando, Fla., native. “I love, love, love swimming with sharks. It gives me such a rush. They’re so beautiful. Everything’s different under the sea; it’s a different world.” It’s a world that Adams has been exploring for years, whether swimming with sharks, wake surfing or scuba diving. She’s swam with sharks in Thailand, the Bahamas and Mexico, and she’s already booked her next trip: diving down to a shipwreck surrounded by—what else—sharks!
Back on land, this is Adams’ second season with Liquid. Before moving to town, Adams spent many years as a Hawaiian Tropic model, and before that she was a junior Olympics two-time medalist artistic skater. But she’s found happiness being a cocktail server at Liquid. “I genuinely enjoy being a cocktail server at this pool,” she says. “I have a great time, I help other people have a great time. I’m excited to come to work. I will stay in this industry as long as I can.”
As for her adventures, there’s still a big goal she wants to achieve: diving with great white sharks in Australia. “I can’t wait,” she says, with absolutely no fear in her voice.
Liquid Pool Lounge has introduced new specialty cocktails this summer season, and one of the most popular picks is the French Prairie. Cool off and sip the sweet, refreshing mix of Grey Goose vodka, pear-flavored liqueur, grapefruit and lime juices and simple syrup. The menu also features bottle service, margaritas, mojitos, frozen cocktails, beer and wine. There’s also an upscale food menu with specialties like lump crab & artichoke dip, bigeye tuna tartare, wagyu beef hot dog, crispy mushroom sandwich and the refreshing pineapple or watermelon wedge served with Greek yogurt, lime and piña colada crumble.
